I utilize Solution-Focused and CBT techniques to support you in making the changes you want in your life. Motivational Interviewing and Positive Psychology are also tools that can be helpful in making connections.
I have experience in multiple areas, but I find working with adolescents and adults to be most rewarding. After finishing my MSW at the University of Michigan, I moved to Maine and worked for 2.5 years utilizing Family Systems Therapy and helping children to remain in their homes. Since moving to Ohio, I have worked in schools with school-aged children and youth, providing therapy and behavioral consultation to schools. In this process, I have also worked with parents and guardians to help them feel more confident in helping their children find success.
I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults but enjoy working with people of all ages. Whether you struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, I believe I can help you to work through your challenges and come out stronger on the other side.
